Leopard ecology and conflict prevention in the Namibian farmlands

About the presenter:

Dr. Miha Krofel is a wildlife researcher and associate professor based at University of Ljubljana in Slovenia (Europe), where he is leading the Research group for wildlife ecology and management. The main focus of his research are large carnivores in Europe, Asia and Africa, including the African big cats, which he has studied in Namibia for the past 20 years. Miha is also affiliated with the IZW institute in Germany and is a member of IUCN Cat Specialist Group. He is author of over 140 scientific papers and 18 books or book chapters, mostly on carnivore ecology, management and conservation.
