DESCRIPTION:In 2025, six new barking gecko species were identified using bioacoustics, genetics, and fieldwork led by herpetologist Dr Francois Becker. Five species originate from Namibia, tracing back to the dinosaur era and resolving 150-year-old questions. Dr Becker presents these discoveries alongside methods for identifying and locating these elusive geckos in the wild.
