There’s plenty happening in the skies this August! Look out for the Perseid Meteor Shower, peaking around 13 August, and set an early alarm for 28 August, when a partial lunar eclipse will be visible from Namibia before the Moon sets. Venus shines brightly in the evening sky, while Mars and Saturn make their appearances in the early hours. Plus, meet Lyra, our Constellation of the Month, home to brilliant Vega and the famous Ring Nebula.
