When will you process my order?
We will process your orders on weekdays during office hours. If you have placed an order over a weekend, you will have to wait until Monday to get it processed.
Similarly, orders received on a holiday will not be processed until the next business day. During the vacations over Christmas and New Year, incoming orders are also not processed.
Orders can be made at any time. We will process them as soon as possible.

How can I become a member of the Namibia Scientific Society?
Anyone can become a member of the NWG. For this purpose, the membership application must be sent to us.
Each member receives a 15% discount on all books, as well as discounts on excursions and trips. We offer some tours exclusively for members.
All members receive a Newsletter twice a year and the annual Journal.
How will I receive my ordered books?
The products can be picked up from us during office hours or shipped worldwide.
The collection of the items is free of charge.
The shipping costs vary according to weight and distance and are calculated individually and displayed during the ordering process.
The customer can choose whether the package should be transported by air or ship.
Deliveries that are sent abroad are automatically registered.
Courier deliveries to anywhere else in Namibia are possible and the costs depend on where and the size of the parcel. We will use local couriers and the costs will be carried by you and should be paid to the courier service.
How much is the membership fee?
The membership fee for people from Namibia and other African countries is N$ 300 per year. Pupils, students and pensioners pay N$ 150 per year.
The fee for People from overseas is € 50. Pupils, students and pensioners pay € 25 per year.
Our year begins on 1 April and ends at the end of March.
What does pre order mean?
Pre-order is a term we use for products which have not been released yet but which have a known release date. This mainly applies to new books or reprints.
We usually offer special discount rates for pre-ordering products so it is worth ordering in advance to receive the product as soon as it is released.
How long does it take until I receive my books?
Within Namibia, it takes about 1 week until you receive your parcel.
By airmail, the package is on its way for about 2 weeks.
With seamail, you have to wait about 4 weeks.
