Astro News July 2026

  • 26 June 2026

July promises plenty for skywatchers, with dark winter skies offering some of the year's best views of the Milky Way during the New Moon on 14 July. Venus remains a brilliant evening object, Saturn shines in the early morning sky, and the month's featured constellation is Corona Borealis, home to the famous Blaze Star (T Coronae Borealis), a recurrent nova that astronomers continue to watch closely for its anticipated next eruption.
