The Namibia Scientific Society invites you to an astronomical weekend. Whether 1 or 2 nights of looking through telescopes, or looking into the sun, you can ask our specialists about everything in the sky.

19h00–19h10: Pre-stargazing talk
19h15–20h15: Laser show stargazing
20h15 till late: Stargazing with telescopes

Saturday,12 September

09h00: Breakfast
10h00: Official Opening and a presentation by Lutz von Dewitz: Earth, Moon and Sun (Understanding Orbits, Seasons and Moon Phases Through Play)
afterwards Solar Observations
11h30: Personal leisure time
13h00: Light Lunch
15h00: Presentation by Clyde Foster: Planets: Our neighbors in space
16h00: Solar Observations and AMT Mobile Planetarium Shows (optional)
17h30: Dinner
19h00: Astrophotography: From Telescope to Image by Lutz von Dewitz
19h30 till late: Stargazing
