This colourful book covers wild flowers of the northern Namib, which occur in the Damaraland (Palmwag, Twyfelfontein and surrounding area) and the Kaokoveld. Focussing on those 65 most commonly seen plant species, descriptions are organised according to main growth forms. These cover a selection of common shrubs, stem-succulents, succulents, herbs, bulbs and grasses. The text is illustrated with 1 colour map and 44 line drawings. 158 colour photographs illustrate the described plant species, providing overall appearance, flowers and close-ups.
